ABOUT THE BEEF
We had 35 acres of uneven, stony pasture that couldn't be cultivated. Returning cattle to our farm has benefited both the land and the animals. The cattle's hooves break up the hard crust of the surface to allow grasses and legumes to take root. Their manure restores nutrients to the ground. The grass sustains the cattle, the cattle sustain the pasture. Working with the natural processes of grassland and how cattle have evolved to thrive have returned 35 acres of otherwise unusable land to productivity and made for a happy, healthy herd.
Simple. Sustainable.
