I didn't grow up on a farm...

... I fell in love with a beekeeper.
His farm hadn't had animals on it for years. But he saw how much I loved cows and simply said one day, smiling: "If you like cows, get cows." Here was an opportunity to have cattle of my own and carve out a small corner of the beef industry where the animals are cared for lovingly and sustainably.
